SUCCESS FOR CHOIRS IN MOATE COMMUNITY SCHOOL

On Friday March 4^th, the choirs in Moate Community School had their first outing in two years and travelled to Wesley College for the Inter Schools Music Festival.

We traditionally have two choirs in the school: Moate Community School Choir and Iontas Choir. The former was split into two choirs so as to adhere safely to covid guidelines and restrictions.

Therefore we entered three different competitions last Friday and each choir was awarded a prize. Collectively we came home with a 1st, 2^nd and 3^rd place. This was a fantastic achievement for all the choir groups involved.
