A big thank you to Marie Fleming of Una’s Charity Shop in Moate for her generous donation to the Sensory Garden in the Dún Na Sí Amenity Park.
The Sensory Garden is a community development in co-operation with Moate Community School TY students, St Hilda’s Service Users and local volunteers. Work is continuing on the Meandering Sensory Path, which they hope to complete before the end of the school year. At the same time, the team continue to maintain the Sensory Planters, Butterfly Garden and Wildflower area.
The Sensory Garden is a wonderful amenity for all to enjoy, both locals and visitors alike.
