On Friday 17^th of May over thirty students participated in MCS Golf Scramble. The event was held in Moate Golf Club. It was a very enjoyable day and we had fabulous weather. The standard of Golf was very high. It was the first competitive golf outing introducing students to the game. This is a good start to the summer and we hope to participate in inter-schools competitions next year. In the meantime, we hope more students will acquire a handicap  over the summer months and therefore will be eligible to take part in team events.

We received great help from Maura Igoe, Anna O Brien, Trevor Hill, Joe Creggy and Mick McLoughlin. Thank you to Moate Golf Club and the caterers who all contributed to a great day.
