On Thursday 18^th April, TY students from Moate CS gathered in front of the school for their school tour. With great excitement and anticipation, the students and their teachers had an early start, heading for the airport to catch the early morning flight to Barcelona.

The group spent 4 fun filled days exploring the sites of the city and enjoying the fabulous sunshine. During their stay, they visited the iconic Sagrada Familia, and had the opportunity to take some beautiful photos of the city from the viewing point on Mont Juic. They also took a cruise around Barcelona Port, visited the CosmoCaixa interactive science museum and enjoyed a game of bowling. Day 3 was most widely anticipated by the students, with a full day pass to PortAventura. Students agreed that this was a high point of the trip. On their last day, the students travelled by cable car to Montserrat, before returning to the airport for their flight home.

It proved to be a highly successful trip, with something for everyone. It was made even more enjoyable by the wonderful weather.
