On Wednesday 18^th October 32 athletes from Moate Community School ran in the Westmeath Cross Country Championships.

Congratulations to Ali Duffy who placed 1st in the first year girls race. Well done to Laura Fox and Doireann Keena who both got medals in the 2nd year girls race.

Well done to Billy Stenson who received a medal in the 2nd year boys race. We had great success with our senior boys with Fionn Murphy, Michael Heba and Hagan Niall all receiving medals in their age category’s. Well done to all students who completed today in tough conditions!!
