On Tuesday October 10th our Transition Year Students engaged in a career-related workshop in conjunction with Social Enterprise Exchange and co-ordinated by Gabrielle McFadden. This initiative entails 2 workshops for the students, the second will take place in the New Year.
Workshop 1 was facilitated by Claire Hurley. Students learned of the value of social enterprise and the contributions it makes to our communities. They also learned how social enterprise and career choice are interconnected. The workshop was engaging; video clips and discussion enhanced the students’ appreciation of the contributions they can make in the future to society through their work and civic mindedness.
