On Wednesday 25th September, 5th year students from Moate community school travelled to the RDS for the World skills Ireland expo 2024.
This event gave our students a very good insight into the area of apprenticeships, further education and higher education opportunities.
Students were able to observe the top apprentices in the country compete against each other in their respective trades and showcase their amazing skills.
They also got to meet industry leaders /  employers  and observe demonstrations of the latest exciting technology in AI and Virtual Reality along with the latest advances in sustainable and green technologies.
We hope this trip will encourage many of our students towards the dynamic and rewarding career paths in skill-based jobs and apprenticeships and they will form the next generation of skilled professionals, who are shaping the future of our industries.
