Huge congratulations to our athletes, Ally Duffy 1^st year, Jack McGuinness 1^st year and Ewan Kelly 2^nd year who ran in The All- Ireland Cross Country Finals last Saturday 9^th March in Tymon Park, Co. Dublin.

Our Athletes braved the tough conditions and showed unbelievable grit and determination. Ally Duffy ran a very tactical race leading the way with the top athletes in the country coming 7^th. Ally showed off her fantastic athleticism and is one to watch for the future.

Meanwhile Jack McGuinness placed 11^th in what was a powerful run throughout. Jack showed off his natural talent and sheer determination mixing it with top athletes from across the country.

Ewan Kelly braved the tough conditions in what was a staked field of talented athletes, Ewan ran a very impressive race and came in a 64^th with a very impressive time of the 3000m distance.

Well done to all of our Moate Community School athletes who have represented the school with great pride on the biggest stage of them all.
