Huge congratulations to our athletes, Ally Duffy 1st<\/sup> year, Jack McGuinness 1st<\/sup> year and Ewan Kelly 2nd<\/sup> year who ran in The All- Ireland Cross Country Finals last Saturday 9th<\/sup> March in Tymon Park, Co. Dublin.<\/p>\n Our Athletes braved the tough conditions and showed unbelievable grit and determination. Ally Duffy ran a very tactical race leading the way with the top athletes in the country coming 7th<\/sup>. Ally showed off her fantastic athleticism and is one to watch for the future.<\/p>\n Meanwhile Jack McGuinness placed 11th<\/sup> in what was a powerful run throughout. Jack showed off his natural talent and sheer determination mixing it with top athletes from across the country.<\/p>\n Ewan Kelly braved the tough conditions in what was a staked field of talented athletes, Ewan ran a very impressive race and came in a 64th<\/sup> with a very impressive time of the 3000m distance.<\/p>\n Well done to all of our Moate Community School athletes who have represented the school with great pride on the biggest stage of them all.<\/p>\n
