The students learned about the history of the Castle, Athlone Town and the Siege of Athlone. The visit was fantastic as they got to see several artefacts, videos and even got to dress up in medieval costumes!<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Luan Art Gallery didn\u2019t disappoint either. Students were given a guided tour of their current exhibition \u201cSymbols of Subject\u201d, a collection of artwork from TUS Athlone. The students got an opportunity to see the work of some of Irelands greatest artist including Louis Le Brocquy, William Crozier along with many more.
