Feachtas is a national organisation that was set up to promote Irish amongst young people. Every year, they organise this event to give young people an opportunity to use their Irish outside of the classroom at an enjoyable occasion.<\/p>\n

Local schools took part in the Regional finals in October and Moate Community School were successful in achieving a place in the All-Ireland final which took place in the Ashling Hotel in Dublin on March 14th<\/sup>. Aisling Murphy, Rachel Higgins, Cl\u00edodhna Aspell and Lauren Fox took part in the final, which was a very enjoyable day.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the students who took part, we are very proud of this achievement.<\/p>\n
