Moate Community School Transition Year and Leaving Certificate Applied students took part in a creative workshop at the Dún Na Sí Amenity Park on 28^th November. They designed and produced attractive mosaic squares which will be used in a new paving area in the Sensory Garden. The students prepared their designs based on stimulating the senses and environmental themes. They used colourful glass beads and pebbles, sinking them into prepared concrete.

The students participating were LCAs Jasmine Morrissey and Grace Geoghegan, TYs Abigayle Kane Gannon, Mikaela Greene, Eimhin O’Dullaing and Fine Clara Busch. Many thanks to the team in Dún Na Sí, especially Tom Fallon for facilitating this workshop.
